WE ARE RECRUITING A PRESCHOOL AIM SUPPORT WORKER
Newbury House preschool is recruiting an energetic Childcare Assistant
to work as part of our preschool team.
HOURS: 9am ? **Apply on the website**pm - 5 days a week till June
**Apply on the website** / possible 2nd shift (1pm ? 4pm)
DUTIES INCLUDE: childcare work, AIM work and food preparation and
general preschool duties
IDEAL CANDIDATE TO HAVE:
* Minimum qualification QQI level 5 in childcare
* Appropriate Garda Vetting / Police Clearance
* First Aid
* Willingness to learn
* Understanding of Aistear & Siolta,
* Child protection,
* Enthusiastic, work off own initiative and as part of a team,
* Excellent communication skills,
* To be reliable and flexible
* Weekly planning and documenting of curriculum
* Perform any other reasonable assigned duties

The positon will offer the successful person a wonderful opportunity

DESIRABLE CANDIDATE TO HAVE:
* A minimum qualification of QQI Level 5
* Garda Vetting / Police Clearance
* Passionate about providing quality childcare
* Display kindness, warmth and responsiveness to the needs of
children
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work on their own initiative?and as part of a team
* Excellent attendance and punctuality
* knowledge of Siolta and Aistear desirable
